Everyone is waiting for the September introduction of the next iPhone. And the most significant rumors suggest that the new iPhone would make a late entry.


Iphone 8 leaked model

Recent reports say that Apple would reveal the device on September 12. Initial supply of the new device will be constrained. It will be available in limited quantity only; Apple may only be able to manufacture 2-4 million during the current quarter. It will take more than a month to get your hands on the new phone after the release. Another report says that the iPhone 8 may not release until 2018. Device will be available in three colors: Black, silver and copper gold.

Edgeless OLED display, more RAM, improved battery life, more capable cameras, fast charging are the main highlights of the device. Let's go through it.                                                                         
                                                            
OLED display

The new iPhone will have a curved edge-to-edge OLED display with true Tone Technology. It would be a huge equalizer in its rivalry with Samsung galaxy s8. According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the new iPhone would be the device with the highest screen-to-body ratio. It would almost cover the entire front of the device.
It will have a 5.8 inch screen with 1242 x 2800 pixels resolution
Display is protected with Ion-strengthened glass and a oleophobic coating.



Apple also plans to release a SE version this year which seems to be cheaper than last year. The OLED version will be in short supply.


3D Lasers and Face ID

Apple is working on advanced facial recognition technology with cameras for biometric identification. Reports say that apple has developed a rear facing 3D laser system that would improve AR Depth detection and auto focusing for photography. A patent application dated July 6, 2017 speaks about the sensor that can tell if you're a human. The device is expected to have 4GB RAM, a 10-nanometer A11 chip, faster and more efficient.


CAMERA

Many of the leaked images show an iPhone that has two cameras (believed to be 12MP) arranged vertically with a LED flash in the middle. The exact resolutions of the lenses are unknown.
Both lenses will feature optical image stabilization.
Another feature of the camera is called "smart cam". This feature is some form of scene selection that intelligently takes photos based on environments within the camera app. In other words 'it will tune camera based on the scene it detects'.

The front and rear cameras of the device can record 4K video at 60fps.


HOME BUTTON

There are rumours that the home button would be moved to back of the phone. Analysts say that apple will locate it on the back of the device or it could ditch the home button altogether.
Reports say that Apple found how to embed Touch ID directly in the display.

FAST CHARGING

It is said that apple is planning an L-Shaped battery design. It is rumoured that the next iPhone would support wireless charging and a USB-C-powered faster plugged-in charges.
This device will have the most efficient battery (Li-ion) comparing with the iPhones before.

BODY

Apple is throwing away the aluminium body which has been used since 2012 and is expected to adopt Glass-backed body. CEO of apple supplier said “only one model will adopt a glass casing” suggesting other iPhones with aluminium bodies are in work.

The device doesn't include next generation gigabit support and the company will stick to 4G LTE (450mbps) tech. Gigabit connectivity provides fibre-like speed and is supposed to be 50-100 times faster. Galaxy S8 from Samsung uses this gigabit chip.
